In his goodwill message, Governor Soludo described the celebration as not just a time of joy, but also a moment to reflect on the timeless values of peace, love, compassion, and humility which the Prophet stood for.

According to his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the Governor noted that Prophet Muhammad’s teachings emphasise unity, kindness, and respect for all, regardless of faith or background. He therefore urged the Muslim faithful to use this season to deepen the spirit of tolerance, understanding, and harmony, values that are essential for building a stronger and more peaceful society.

Governor Soludo reaffirmed that Anambra remains committed to creating an inclusive environment where people of all faiths can live together in peace. He congratulated all Muslims in the state and across the country on this special occasion and prayed that Eid al-Maulud brings joy, prosperity, and renewed hope to every home in Nigeria.
