The seminar will begin at 11:00 AM prompt. The purpose of the seminar is to examine the National Single Window (NSW) idea, its goals, and its potential to improve Nigeria’s economic efficiency and expedite trade procedures. The objectives of the NSW project, stakeholder responsibilities, implementation techniques, and its linkage with regional and national trade facilitation projects like the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will be important topics of discussion.
Keynote Speaker and Special Visitors Leading personalities from the marine sector will attend the conference, including the Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Adegboyega Oyetola**, Minister of Blue Economy. -The keynote speaker will be Mr. Tola Fakolade, the director of the National Single Window Project.
Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), is one of the honoured guests. The CEO and Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Shippers Council is Barr. Pius O. Akutah. -The director general of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola.

Highlights of the Seminar The roles and duties of different stakeholders in the NSW’s implementation will be explained to attendees. The crucial processes that went into creating, implementing, and overseeing the NSW platform. Case studies of other nations’ successful NSW implementations.
How the NSW supports smooth port operations, regional integration, and cargo clearance processes. The “potentials of the International Cargo Tracking Note (ICTN)” and their consequences for the port sector in Nigeria will also be covered at the event. “This seminar will serve as a platform for stakeholders across government, the private sector, and service providers to collaborate, share knowledge, and chart a path towards economic growth through trade facilitation reforms,” said Frank Odinukaeze, MAJAN’s public relations officer.
