Massive Turnout as Gbenga Hashim Secures Accord Party Presidential Ticket

Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim has emerged as the Accord Party’s preferred presidential candidate after securing overwhelming support in the party’s affirmation primaries conducted across several states of the federation.
The exercise attracted a large number of party members and supporters, who turned out to formally endorse his candidacy ahead of the forthcoming presidential election.
Although Dr. Olawepo-Hashim was the sole aspirant in the race, the affirmation process was organized to give party faithful the opportunity to democratically express their support for his candidature.
Results collated from participating states showed that he received a total of 423,902 affirmative votes. Jigawa State recorded the highest number with 198,200 votes, followed by Kano State with 124,101 votes. Nasarawa State contributed 47,309 votes, while Kebbi State returned 46,852 votes.
Other states also recorded significant support, with Kwara State producing 3,348 votes and Lagos State contributing 4,548 affirmative votes.
Party officials described the exercise as peaceful, transparent, and a clear reflection of the confidence members have in Olawepo-Hashim’s leadership, vision, and capacity to lead the country.
