So, what does this investment mean in real terms?
• 30 new fully equipped model primary schools will be built in communities that have never had one. Children who once trekked far distances — or dropped out — will now have access to a modern school right within their neighborhood.
• Existing public schools will be transformed. More classrooms, science labs, digital learning centers, libraries, sanitary facilities, and perimeter fencing will ensure students learn in safe and truly 21st-century environments.
• Two new specialist tertiary institutions are being considered, particularly for engineering, technology, and medical sciences — to help Anambra leap into the future of innovation and healthcare.
• Free education from kindergarten to SS3 stays fully intact — no fees, no levies, no hidden charges. Bursaries for university and polytechnic students may also increase so no bright mind misses out because of finances.

• The digital education drive continues: more smart schools, tablets for students, broadband access to schools, and retraining of teachers in digital skills.
• And of course, teachers remain a priority — promotions, on-time salaries, and continuous professional development to maintain Anambra’s reputation for having some of the best public-school educators in the country.
