The course, which runs from Monday, December 1st to Friday, December 5th, 2025, is being hosted at the TPI Boardroom and focuses on strengthening financial skills in areas such as budgeting, forecasting, planning, and cost control — all essential for improved organizational performance.
In his welcome remarks, TPI Director General, Dr. Lanre Adebayo, applauded APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for prioritizing professional development within the party structure. He noted that this marks a historic moment, as it is the first time a political leadership has fully empowered its training institution to build internal capacity among party personnel.
Dr. Adebayo praised the APC leadership as a forward-thinking and intellectually driven team committed to institutional excellence. He also commended the dedication of TPI staff, describing them as some of the most hardworking professionals in the sector. He gave special recognition to the Director of Programmes, Malami Sanusi Kiru; Director of Finance, Dr. Ibor Bassey; and Director of Legal Services, Barrister Ego Queen-Ezuma, for their contributions to the successful rollout of the programme.
