MultiChoice Nigeria, a leading pay television service provider, intends to give DStv and GOtv customers with a support package. The business informed subscribers on Monday that new rates will be applied to DStv and GOtv bundles as of March 1.

The firm claims that as a thank you for their commitment, DStv and GOtv customers who renew their subscriptions before the expiration date would be exempt from the new pricing for a predetermined period of time. Additionally, the Step Up promotion, which started in January and runs through March 31, allows subscribers on both platforms to benefit from additional perks.
By allowing both active and disconnected DStv and GOtv users to experience content beyond their current package through an automated upgrade to a higher package upon purchase for a package over their existing subscription, the Step Up offer broadens access to premium content.
On February 28, MultiChoice will announce a cut in the subscription for its streaming service, Showmax, as part of the palliative package. This attempts to give consumers more reasonably priced access to films, live sports, and other forms of entertainment.
According to the most recent pricing review, the DStv Compact bouquet costs N19,000, while the Compact Plus package costs N30,000. The premium membership to DSTV will cost N44,500. Likewise, subscribers to GOtv Supa will now pay N16,800, but those on Supa will pay N11,400. GOtv Max’s tariff is raised to N8,500, while GOtv Jinja’s is raised to N3,900.
These changes are part of MultiChoice’s ongoing efforts to strike a balance between operating expenses and its subscribers’ continuous access to top-notch entertainment.
