The Delta State Law Students Association of Nigeria (DELSAN) has expressed gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for providing a bursary to the Nigerian Law School’s 2022–2023 alumnus class of students from the state.
Thank you for visiting The Vestigator, don't forget to share!
In a letter signed by former National President Innocent Ighoawworua and DELSAN National President Akosa Daniels, the law students praised Governor Oborevwori for his outstanding leadership, dedication to education, and human resource development. “Your administration’s investment in human development is a testament to your vision for a brighter future for our state,” the letter says in part.
“For Delta State students who were recently called to the Nigerian Bar between March 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2024, as confirmed Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the bursary grant has brought immense relief, motivation, and hope. It has allowed some of us to pursue our academic desires further, while others have been able to further our career goals without financial burden.”
“His Excellency would be interested in learning that Umukoro, Nyerovwo Godstime Esq., the Best Male Graduate of the Nigerian Law School 2022/2023 Graduating Set, is a Delta State native.” Additionally, we would want to draw your attention to the fact that Delta State boasted over 10 First Class graduates out of the 251 First Class graduates that were called to the bar, making our state a formidable force.
These are all powerful examples of the outcomes of your dedication to and financial support of education. “We recognize and appreciate your unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of students and graduates, your proactive measures to address financial constraints impeding academic success, and your recognition of the critical role education plays in shaping the future of our state.”
“This act has restored our faith in your vision and leadership abilities, which has motivated us to achieve academic success and push ourselves further, knowing that we have your support.” “We promise to take full advantage of this opportunity, become contributing members of society, help Delta State and beyond grow and prosper, and always make Delta State proud.”
