A varied and impressive throng attended the expo, which was held at the Police Grounds on Oba Akinjobi Way, GRA Lagos. Key industry stakeholders, interested members of the public, and seasoned farmers and creative agricultural startups were among the participants. As farmers from all over the region gathered to display and sell a vast array of fresh, locally grown vegetables, this year’s farm fair, which was held in honor of World Food Day, stood out as a vibrant exposition.

Families and guests bought premium fruits, vegetables, grains, and other agricultural items at reasonable prices while taking in the lively ambiance. In addition to giving farmers a chance to interact with customers directly, the fair emphasized the value of promoting sustainable farming methods and local agriculture. All ages were engaged by the exhibitions and activities, which promoted a sense of community.

“We at Stanbic IBTC Holdings are steadfastly dedicated to supporting innovation and sustainable growth in Nigeria’s agriculture industry. “The development and prosperity of the agricultural landscape are supported by our proud partnership with the Lagos Farm Fair and the British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture & Food Systems,” said Eric Fajemisin, Executive Director, Corporate and Investment Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank.

Eric clarified that the gathering, which brings important stakeholders together to exchange ideas and create alliances to advance the sector, is a significant step forward. “We think that by supporting agriculture, we are supporting our country’s future and fostering growth, innovation, and sustainability.” Stanbic IBTC Holdings is pleased to have played a part in the BATNF Lagos Farm Fair’s success.
