Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Tuesday officially submitted his nomination form at the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja as the party’s consensus candidate for the Ogun East Senatorial District.
Speaking during the brief ceremony, the governor said the event went beyond politics, describing it as a reflection of his continued dedication to the people of Ogun East, a region he noted is widely known for its rich heritage, entrepreneurial spirit, cultural significance, and vast potential.
“This moment is not just about a political process, but about our enduring commitment to the people of Ogun East,” he said.
Governor Abiodun also thanked party leaders, stakeholders, and residents across the Ijebu and Remo divisions for their unwavering support and trust over the years. He assured them of his commitment to providing effective, purposeful, and impactful representation.
