Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, is looking for the help of religious leaders in order to rid the state of vices and raise morally upright young people. Soludo calls on religious leaders to assist his government in establishing Anambra as a model state for high moral standards, while praising the Dunamis International Gospel Centre for carrying out what he called “quintessential evangelism” during their recent crusade at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, without impeding public traffic or creating inconvenience for drivers.

Governor Soludo, who was impressed by the Dunamis Crusade event’s orderliness, declared that the church would receive a return for the money it paid to use the venue. Additionally, he invited the church, under the leadership of Pastor Paul Enenche, to come back and use the Square for upcoming events.
Christian Aburime, the governor’s chief press secretary, claims that the governor announced that Ekwueme Square and the surrounding area will receive a significant makeover in the upcoming months, complete with improved lighting and landscaping, in keeping with Anambra’s motto, “The Light of the Nation.”
In addition, Soludo asked the church to step up prayers for the state’s spiritual purification and aid the government in restoring the moral principles of the young people, whom he claimed he had already equipped with the necessary skills and business prospects. “Our people are renowned for their ingenuity and hard work, not for engaging in illegal activities like drug trafficking, kidnapping, or online fraud.
Together, we need to refocus our young people’s thinking towards impact and production,” the governor said. He praised Pastor Enenche for his teachings on righteousness and godly living, saying that they will assist transform young people’s perspectives and help create a more secure and prosperous Anambra State. Religious leaders and the Christian community have praised Governor Soludo’s initiative as a step towards encouraging government-church cooperation for social change.
Dunamis International Gospel Centre Senior Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche gave a stirring sermon on “Serving the God of the Blessing.” This came before the governor’s speech. Thousands of believers expecting divine intervention attended the event, which also saw deliverance and healing. Pastor Enenche cited significant biblical passages in his lecture where God discussed blessings, especially with Adam and Noah.
He underlined that although benefits have always been part of God’s purpose for His people, they can only be obtained via obedience and service to Him. “In Genesis 1:28, God bestowed His blessing on Adam from the very beginning, instructing him to “be fruitful, multiply, populate the world, and subdue it.”
In Genesis 9:1, God reiterated this blessing with Noah even after the deluge. According to Pastor Enenche, this demonstrates God’s dedication to benefiting those who walk with Him. In order to declare God’s blessings onto Anambra and its people, Pastor Enenche is anticipated to lead prayers for individuals, families, and the state as the crusade proceeds.
