Three internationally recognised African artists, Fally Ipupa (Democratic Republic of Congo), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), and Simi (Nigeria), have teamed up with Airtel Africa, a leading provider of mobile money and telecommunications services in 14 African countries, to teach customers how to maximise their data bundles and improve their digital experience.

Airtel Africa hopes that this partnership will empower consumers to make knowledgeable choices regarding their data usage patterns. The musicians have teamed up with Airtel Africa to write a special song that will give users useful advice and resources to help them make the most of their data for daily activities including streaming, internet surfing, and using necessary apps.

The partnership supports education on better data management and usage as part of the continuing #SmartaWithData campaign. For a more fulfilling digital experience, it seeks to inspire Airtel Africa’s customers to GO #SmartaWithData, SET smarter data speeds, and GET smarter data settings. The Airtel network is now running an edutainment promotion for its young clients, ages 18 to 35, in seven African countries: Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Zambia, and Malawi.

Airtel Africa’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Rohit Marwha, made the following remarks regarding the campaign: “With this campaign, we hope to make sure that our customers maximise their Airtel data bundles, which will improve their online experience.” Our clients enjoy and interact with these artists on a regular basis, so working with them guarantees that they are aware of these data hacks and can easily adopt the use and management of their data through messages that speak to them.

Creating outstanding client experiences with our goods and services is our top priority at Airtel Africa. We anticipate that our clients will feel empowered and have fulfilling online experiences, whether for business or pleasure, thanks to this edutainment campaign, which will be presented by genuine, globally recognised African musicians.

In addition to providing advice on how to utilise data more wisely, Airtel Africa’s #SmartaWithData campaign invites users to participate and contribute their own advice. Consumers may conveniently access all data bundles through the MyAirtel App, Airtel Lite, or USSD.
