Thousands of fitness fanatics from all around Africa and beyond attended the grand finale, which took place at the Landmark Event Center in Victoria Island, Lagos. VerveLife 7.0 this year carried on the company’s goal of fostering a fitness-conscious society throughout Africa. The occasion offered a lively forum for community members, wellness professionals, and fitness enthusiasts to come together in support of a common goal of leading healthy lives.
VerveLife has promoted a proactive attitude to health since its founding by serving as a specialized forum for wellness discussions and events. An outstanding lineup of well-known fitness personalities from Africa and other countries was included in VerveLife 7.0. Nigerian dancing and fitness sensation Kaffy, well-known fitness expert Kemen, South African fitness star Queenfitnass, one of Kenya’s best fitness teachers Alvin Lee, and international fitness icon Ulisses were among others who contributed their knowledge.
The addition of Nkululeko Dlamini, commonly known as The King of Squats, to the roster highlights Verve’s commitment to supporting its cardholders on their path to wellbeing.
Mitchell Elegbe, Group CEO of Interswitch, discussed the success of the event and provided insights into VerveLife’s objective and the platform’s impressive growth. “We founded VerveLife seven years ago to engage with Nigerians through fitness, a passion we saw resonate with people all over the country,” he said. VerveLife has expanded in size and participation every year, indicating a common need for places where people can congregate to work out, develop resilience, and celebrate wellness.
The event this year focused on the camaraderie and strength that wellness promotes, particularly in trying times. We shall come out stronger together. Partnerships with top brands, such as the world-renowned sportswear company adidas, as well as Aquafina, Pocari Sweat, and Hygeia, contributed to the success of the VerveLife 7.0 event, which made several stops in cities like Asaba, Uyo, Enugu, Ibadan, Abuja, Kampala, and Nairobi before concluding in Lagos.
These partnerships added value to the event by giving participants access to unique goods and services that improved the fitness-related experience. There was an exciting, energetic afterparty to cap off the occasion. 9ice, a prominent Afrobeats artist, invigorated the audience with his hits.
A memorable conclusion to VerveLife 7.0 was provided by performances by Alternate Sound, one of Nigeria’s best live bands, as well as appearances by prominent celebrities like DO2DTUN, Kie Kie, Tobi Bakare, and Waje. DJ Tobi Peter, DJ Xray, Maze x Mxtreme, and DJ Tgarbs also contributed to the electrifying atmosphere.
VerveLife continues to be Verve’s premier fitness program as it broadens its scope, encouraging better lifestyles throughout the continent and advancing Verve’s goal of an Africa focused on wellbeing.
