BSG said in a statement that Abiola will be in charge of representing the company’s interests in terms of regulation and public policy.

In addition, Abiola will work with the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) to fulfill her responsibility of supervising the Group’s policy development and operations. The Beer Sectoral Group includes Nigerian Breweries, International Breweries, and Guinness Nigeria Plc as members.
She was the driving force behind The CIO Club Africa and CIO & C-Suite Awards Africa in addition to being the founder and CEO of Edniesal Consulting until her latest appointment. Abiola joins the team with more than 20 years of expertise in the field of law, corporate leadership, and governance.

She has proven that she is dedicated to promoting corporate governance and digital transformation throughout the continent.

Throughout her career, Abiola has fostered settings where businesses flourish by bridging the gap between legal complexities and business objectives. Her leadership has been essential in carrying out intricate acquisitions, putting strong governance frameworks in place, and spearheading programs that support sustainability and moral corporate conduct.

Abiola’s experience with successful stakeholder management is demonstrated by her positions as a board member of the Strap & Safe Child Foundation, UBA Trustees, Cadbury Nigeria Plc, and PZ Cussons Africa. She was also been named Chairman of the fintech company NOKASH.

The selection of Abiola is significant because it aligns with BSG’s purpose to advance responsible drinking in society and to foster excellent professional practices among its members, thereby developing the beer industry. BSG, a sectoral organization under the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), was founded in 1971 and offers a forum for policy proposals that support government efforts in policy creation.
