According to the governor, notable achievements have been made in infrastructure development, healthcare delivery, education, urban transportation, youth empowerment, and urban renewal projects spread across the state’s five divisions.

He acknowledged the challenges faced during the period, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, economic disruptions, and other social pressures, but emphasized that his administration remained committed to implementing the THEMES+ Agenda and delivering meaningful development.

Sanwo-Olu also reassured residents that his government remains focused on completing ongoing projects while launching new initiatives that will further improve the quality of life for Lagosians.

“As we celebrate this seventh anniversary, I want to assure Lagosians that greater achievements lie ahead. We remain committed to providing better roads, affordable housing, quality healthcare, world-class education, and a secure environment that supports businesses and economic growth,” he said.

The governor called on residents to continue supporting government policies and programmes designed to promote sustainable development. He also urged the private sector and development partners to strengthen their collaboration with the state government in advancing Lagos’ growth.

Sanwo-Olu further praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda has contributed significantly to progress in areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, and empowerment.

He noted that his administration had recently presented a comprehensive account of its stewardship through a series of ministerial press briefings, giving Lagosians the opportunity to review the achievements recorded over the years.

The governor concluded by thanking civil servants, traditional rulers, religious leaders, community stakeholders, members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as other partners whose contributions have helped drive the continued development and success of Lagos State
