Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Tuesday officially submitted his nomination form at the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, emerging as the party’s consensus candidate for the Ogun East Senatorial District.Speaking shortly after the submission, Governor Abiodun said the moment goes beyond politics, describing it as a reflection of his continued dedication to the people of Ogun East — a region he praised for its rich heritage, entrepreneurial spirit, vibrant culture, and vast potential.“This is more than just a political exercise; it reflects our unwavering commitment to the people of Ogun East,” he said.The governor also thanked party leaders, stakeholders, and residents across the Ijebu and Remo divisions for their consistent trust and support over the years.
