Speaking to party stakeholders, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum said the endorsement reflects strong confidence in the current administration and a deliberate choice to keep ongoing reforms on track. He noted that the Tinubu-Shettima leadership has shown clear determination in confronting Nigeria’s tough security and economic challenges.
Zulum pointed out that Borno State—once the heart of the insurgency—has recently seen increased federal support, especially in security coordination, humanitarian aid, and rebuilding efforts. He stressed that maintaining continuity in leadership is essential to sustaining this progress, particularly in the North-East, where recovery from years of conflict is still delicate.
