IGP Tunji Disu Welcomes PCRC Delegation, Reaffirms Commitment to Strong and Productive Partnership

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, recently welcomed a delegation from the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) during a courtesy visit to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The delegation, led by its National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, included prominent members of the National Executive Committee as well as representatives from different regional commands across the country.

Speaking during the visit, Alhaji Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan congratulated IGP Olatunji Disu on his appointment, while reaffirming the PCRC’s loyalty and unwavering support for the Nigeria Police Force. He also praised the Inspector-General for consistently acknowledging the committee’s important role in strengthening national security.
In his response, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu expressed deep appreciation for the PCRC’s continued backing of the Force. He assured the delegation of the police’s readiness to work closely with them, while urging PCRC leaders to uphold strict supervision and ensure that their identification is used only for lawful activities, particularly intelligence gathering. He further stressed the need for members to act as responsible and exemplary citizens in order to protect the credibility of the partnership.
