Eid-el-Fitr: Oyo SUBEB Chairman Adeniran Felicitates with Muslim Faithful

The Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, has extended warm congratulations to Muslims across Oyo State on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of the 2026 Eid-el-Fitr festival.
In a goodwill message released on Thursday, Dr. Adeniran described Eid-el-Fitr as a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the values of discipline, compassion, sacrifice, and unity that were exemplified throughout Ramadan.
He praised the Muslim community for their dedication during the fast, noting that their spiritual devotion helps strengthen the moral fabric of society. Dr. Adeniran encouraged Muslims to continue practicing the virtues cultivated during Ramadan, using them to foster a more peaceful, tolerant, and progressive Oyo State.
Highlighting the significance of the festive period, he said Eid provides an opportunity to reinforce community harmony and deepen social cohesion.
Dr. Adeniran also reaffirmed OYOSUBEB’s commitment to delivering quality basic education across the state, emphasizing that nurturing the development of children is a shared responsibility that thrives in an environment of peace and unity. He called on parents and guardians to use the festive season to guide their children toward positive values and ensure they stay focused as schools prepare to resume for the next academic term.
“On behalf of the Board, I extend heartfelt felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters. May the blessings of Eid-el-Fitr fill every home with joy, and may Oyo State continue to enjoy peace, growth, and divine favor,” Adeniran said. He wished all Muslim faithful a joyous and trouble-free celebration.
