8 November 2025 – Football fans across the world are in for a treat as CANAL+ Group, together with its MultiChoice subsidiary, SuperSport, has officially secured the broadcast rights for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025™ (AFCON 2025).

For the first time ever, the tournament will be broadcast globally in French, English, Portuguese, and indigenous African languages, ensuring that millions of fans on the continent and in the diaspora can experience the magic of African football in their preferred language.
The announcement was made on 6 November 2025, following the signing of the landmark agreement between SuperSport and the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The 35th edition of Africa’s biggest football showpiece kicks off on 21 December 2025 in Morocco.
David Mignot, CEO of CANAL+ Africa, expressed excitement about the partnership, saying:

Fans will be able to watch the matches live on DStv and GOtv, with coverage available in English, Pidgin, and other local languages, depending on the region.
The broadcast will feature top-tier analysts, presenters, and African football legends sharing insights throughout the tournament. Viewers can look forward to seeing their favourite stars in action — including Victor Osimhen (Nigeria), Mohamed Salah (Egypt), Sadio Mané (Senegal), Ronwen Williams (South Africa), Riyad Mahrez (Algeria), and Achraf Hakimi (Morocco) — as they battle for continental glory.
