The Presidential Community Engagement Office (South-West) has continued to extend the reach of its BAT-STEM Education Initiative, impacting thousands of pupils, teachers, and families across Ondo, Ekiti, and Osun States with vital learning materials and empowerment support.

In Ondo State, pupils of St. James CAC Caring Heart Mega School and Iloro Community Primary School, Akure, received a variety of educational supplies designed to make learning more engaging and accessible.
The initiative then moved to Ekiti State, where students of Methodist Primary School, Ilisa Quarters, St. Andrew’s Primary School, Omuo-Ekiti, and Ado Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti benefited from scholarships and school supplies such as bags, sandals, exercise books, pens, pencils, and mathematics sets. Teachers were also supported with essential classroom tools including whiteboards, markers, and dusters to enhance teaching effectiveness.
In Osun State, the team visited Modakeke High School, Modakeke, and Moremi High School, Ile-Ife, reinforcing the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The outreach not only provided learning materials but also engaged students, teachers, and community members in activities that promoted compassion, equality, and opportunity — values at the heart of the initiative.
“This gesture from the government will motivate our students to take their studies more seriously. We’re truly grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for making education a national priority,” said Mrs. Mary Akinyemi, Principal of Ado Grammar School.
Beyond education, the initiative also distributed food items to families, teachers, and local residents — a move reflecting the administration’s belief that learning flourishes best in communities where basic needs are met.
Speaking on the impact of the programme, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (South-West), Moremi Ojudu, reiterated the President’s deep commitment to education and youth development.
“The goal of BAT-STEM is to reignite the Omoluabi spirit — character, excellence, and resilience. President Tinubu believes that every child deserves an equal chance to learn and succeed, no matter their background,” she said. “Through BAT-STEM, we are ensuring that no child is left behind — that every learner has the tools, confidence, and opportunity to build a brighter future. This is what the Renewed Hope Agenda truly represents — transforming lives, one community at a time.”
The BAT-STEM 2.0 initiative — an acronym for Scholarship, Training, Education, and Mentorship — continues to champion President Tinubu’s vision of inclusive education, bridging the gap between government and the people while empowering the next generation of innovators and leaders.
