Over two inspiring days, hundreds of young participants arrived eager to learn — and left with renewed confidence, practical business insights, and meaningful connections to propel their personal and professional growth.
The Kaduna event featured a vibrant blend of training workshops, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities, all focused on equipping participants with vital skills for career advancement and entrepreneurship. Courses such as Adaptability and Resilience, Customer Service and Communication, Project Management, Business Planning, and Time Management were led by experienced facilitators who shared real-world knowledge and actionable tips to help participants turn big ideas into achievable goals.
A highlight of the event was the Small Business Class, where budding entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas before a panel of judges. Several young innovators walked away with business grants, providing much-needed financial support to grow their enterprises.
The energy in Kaduna was electric — a mix of learning, collaboration, and inspiration — as participants exchanged ideas, formed partnerships, and received mentorship from industry professionals.
Driving Youth Empowerment Across Nigeria
The Kaduna stop marks the first leg of the 2025 Youth Empowered Tour, reaffirming NBC’s unwavering commitment to nurturing Nigeria’s next generation of leaders.
Since its launch in 2017, the Youth Empowered initiative has evolved into one of Nigeria’s most influential youth development programs, now active in 28 Coca-Cola HBC markets. Having already exceeded its goal of empowering one million young people by 2025, the program continues to be a platform for skills development, entrepreneurship, and nation-building.
Earlier this year, NBC expanded the program with hands-on learning opportunities. Select participants took part in a culinary masterclass, where three winners each received ₦1 million to grow their businesses in the food and hospitality sector. In addition, ten other beneficiaries gained internship placements at NBC offices nationwide, gaining valuable workplace experience and exposure.
Next Stops
Following the successful Kaduna event, the Youth Empowered 2025 Tour will head to Benue, Ondo, Port Harcourt, Edo, Niger, Jos, and Delta States, continuing the momentum from the 2024 edition, which empowered thousands across Abuja, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Enugu, Lagos, Kano, Anambra, and Maiduguri.
With each stop, NBC is deepening its mission to equip young Nigerians with the skills, mindset, and opportunities to drive meaningful change in their communities — and across the nation.
