In a show of its ongoing commitment to uplift lives and support local communities, Fidelity Bank Plc has donated essential food items to residents of Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government Areas in Ondo State.

At the presentation held in Igbokoda, headquarters of Ilaje LGA, Mr. Folaranmi Jemirin, Regional Bank Head (Southwest 1), explained that the Fidelity Food Bank was created to help fight hunger and bring relief to vulnerable communities across Nigeria.
“We’re delighted to be in Ondo State to continue this impactful programme. It’s our hope that today’s gesture will bring comfort and encouragement to those who need it most,” Jemirin said.
Appreciating the bank’s support, Mrs. Olurantimi Esejuwon, Vice Chairman of Ilaje LGA, thanked Fidelity Bank for looking out for the elderly and people with disabilities.
“This effort is a lifeline for many who struggle to meet basic needs. It shows the bank genuinely cares about people’s welfare beyond banking,” she said.
Hon. Biyi Poroye, Chairman of OSOPADEC, also commended the initiative and urged the bank to establish a branch in Ilaje to tap the area’s rich economic potential.

The Ondo outreach follows earlier Fidelity Food Bank drives, which have supplied essential goods to thousands in states such as Anambra—underscoring the bank’s mission to create meaningful impact in communities nationwide.
