Nigerian Idol, a popular music talent program, will return for its tenth season on April 20, 2025. The upcoming season, which has as its theme “Your Voice, Your Victory,” promises to be a display of extraordinary talent, gripping performances, and fierce rivalry as competitors fight for the grand prize. Ric Hassani, renowned for his soulful tone and artistry, and Omawumi, a formidable vocalist with a plethora of industry experience, are joining the panel again. Award-winning singer Iyanya, whose transformation from talent show competitor to music celebrity brings perspective to the judgement table, is joining them for the first time.
IK Osakioduwa, the seasoned host, makes a comeback to lead us through the tournament with his trademark charm and captivating demeanour. “Nigerian Idol is more than just a competition; it is a platform that transforms lives,” said Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice, in reference to the importance of this historic season. Aspiring musicians have taken the stage and become famous over the years.
