Governor Charles Soludo’s January implementation of the Operation Udo Ga-Achi (Meaning Peace Shall Reign) security system is gaining momentum and producing outcomes. It is now hitting criminals like thunder and making life intolerable for the men and women who have been giving Anambra State restless nights for a long time.

Agunechemba was founded as a state security organisation to assist current law enforcement authorities in avoiding crime, and the security operation, which is the result of the governor signing the Anambra state Homeland Security Law, unveiled 200 security cars and devices. Homeland Security established the functions and duties of security supervisory committees at different levels to supervise operations and guarantee adherence to legal and ethical norms, as well as stringent laws against kidnapping, banditry, and the illegal drug trade, according to Christian Aburime, CPS to Governor Soludo.
This covers, among other things, the illegal use of real estate for criminal purposes, explicit requirements for landlords, property owners, and hospitality enterprises to guarantee due diligence in the identification of tenants and guests, violations, and sanctions to improve enforcement and discourage crime. The administration of Governor Soludo, which recognises the critical role that traditional and civil institutions play in combating crime and re-establishing social order, calls on their cooperation in order to achieve its objectives.
Many kidnappers have been apprehended and hideouts destroyed in the war against crime; criminal searches have been successful in Anambra at Ozubulu, Isiagu, Oba, and Nnewi, among other locations. Additionally, offenders have been caught in connection with the death of Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly who represented Onitsha North State Constituency I.
The security network has also liberated the eight LGAs that were under siege prior to the arrival of Governor Soludo’s administration: Aguata, Ihiala, Ekwusigo, Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Orumba North, Orumba South, and Ogbaru.
