The managing director and chief executive officer of Fidelity Bank, Dr. Nneka Onyali-Ikpe, has praised the continuous infrastructure development in Anambra state. She expressed amazement that the many projects carried out by Governor Charles Soludo were state-funded without putting the state in debt.

During a project tour in Awka on Wednesday, Dr. Onyali-Ikpe, whose interest was piqued by Governor Soludo’s deluge of enormous projects, said, “I am very impressed with the quality, size, and finishing of the projects being executed in this state without borrowing from financial institutions.”
Curiosity prompted the head of Fidelity Bank to remark, “I’m interested in knowing how Soludo is building all this infrastructure without borrowing money.” During the inspection of the various projects, Dr. Onyali-Ikpe, accompanied by Governor Soludo’s Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff, also visited the ongoing Anambra state government house and lodge with Amphitheatre, the Solution Fun City, a funfair and celebration centre, and other locations.
“I’m blown away by the size of infrastructure that I’m seeing today,” she added, expressing her surprise at the infrastructure revolution that has turned Anambra into a destination for tourists, businesses, and the State’s inhabitants.
The scale, the finishing, and the modern architecture. It’s frightening. Finally having something that is appropriate for our state—Anambra—excites me. “I’m impressed and convinced that the Governor has done a fantastic job via all the infrastructure he’s depositing in our state” , she said.
With the state’s current and finished initiatives, Governor Soludo is, in fact, rapidly redefining governance by fusing vision and execution to recast Anambra as a place with limitless potential for astute investors.
