He claims that, given the tragic circumstances and number of fatalities during the tragedy, the Governor’s answer is both ironic and lacking in the appropriate gravity. According to Dr. Ogunjimi, the Governor’s strategy, which seems to blame a small number of people, is insufficient for a thorough and fair examination into the stampede that impacted innumerable families.
He contends that this is a fundamental problem that demands careful investigation in order to fully comprehend the series of circumstances that resulted in this disaster, rather than just a matter of looking for scapegoats. “Governor Makinde’s remarks appear to be disconnected from the unfortunate event’s actual circumstances.
To find the truth and make those who were actually at fault accountable, his government ought to have started an official investigation, perhaps even a coroner’s inquest,” Dr. Ogunjimi said. “Instead of attributing blame to a handful of individuals, we must delve into the underlying causes of this calamity, including crowd management, safety protocols, and event planning.”

Were the people listed and in custody at the scene of the accident? On that particular day, did any Islamic school official open any of the gates for anyone? Why were parents or other individuals assembled at the school’s gate or gates at such unholy hours? Where were the school’s security personnel, and why did they not act quickly to stop the crowding at that precise moment? that were the parents that put their kids’ lives in danger during those hours? The governor is still the state’s top security official, he is still legally responsible for the killings, and he and other others involved ought to be the subject of an independent investigation. The governor ought to let justice be served.
