Ambassador Gabriel Tanimu Aduda, the incoming Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, has promised to enhance the work of Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana mni, the departing Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.

He made this statement at Ship House in Abuja during the handover ceremony between the departing Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Dr. Ibrahim Kana mni, and the new Permanent Secretary, Amb. Gabriel Aduda. He claims that because he comes from a military family, knows a lot about veterans, and destiny has brought us here, the MOD is like coming home.
Furthermore, based on the excellent testimonials of Dr. Kana’s accomplishments, we will advance it further to ensure that his efforts are not in vain. He urged the MOD staff to be honest, since this is the secret to success in whatever they do. In order to further improve the system, he pledged to expand on the framework that Kana had established.
Amb. Aduda also urged dedication, bravery, and excellence in his work, and he asked for his staff’s participation in all circumstances because he does not play around with their well-being.
