At the LaPRIGA 2024 Awards, the firm received the “Award of Recognition for Outstanding Support to Public Relations Practice,” demonstrating its dedication to quality and creativity in the field of public relations. The “Award of Recognition as a Legend of Marketing Communications” was also given to its founder and CEO, John Ehiguese, in recognition of his significant contributions to the field of marketing communications.
The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) hosts the prestigious annual Lagos State PR Industry Gala and Awards (LaPRIGA), where the Award of Recognition for Outstanding Support to Public Relations Practice was given out. Comfort Obot Nwankwo, Chairman of the NIPR Lagos Chapter, underlined the significance of the awards in honouring outstanding work and the function of public relations in influencing perceptions and advancements throughout the ceremony.
According to her, the public relations sectors in Lagos and Nigeria have achieved noteworthy achievements this year, exhibiting campaigns that reimagine narrative and innovations that get international notice. Over the years, Mediacraft Associates has won numerous noteworthy honours.
Notably, it won the LaPRIGA Awards’ “Public Relations Agency of the Year” title in 2019 and its CEO was given a “Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2021.
The agency earned “Public Relations/Media Agency of the Year” at the Nigerian Business Leadership Award 2023, according to BusinessDay, and was named the “Iconic PR Agency of the Year” at the Brand Communicator Awards in 2023.
