On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, the Happy Family Fellowship, under the direction of Pastor Idowu Iluyomade and Dr. Siju Iluyomade, put on a fantastic Carol presentation called Vintage Christmas in the Sky Lounge of the Eko Hotel & Suites. The atmosphere was electrifying.

The event, which included a concert, dinner, and charity ball, brought together many well-known Nigerians to celebrate Carol Night with the Family. As part of her ongoing generosity, Arise Women Convener Dr. Siju donated money to two non-governmental organisations that are very important to her. Mrs. Iluyomade encouraged attendees to support the Sickle Cell Foundation while presenting a million naira to the organization’s representative.
“There is treatment for patients living with Sickle Cell, what they need is the support and we all must give them a chance to live by contributing to people that have dedicated their lives to taking care of them” In honour of a deceased classmate who passed away many years ago, Dr. Siju, who is affectionately known as Rebecca, also donated one million naira to the charity organisation Rebecca’s Room at her alma school, Queens College in Lagos.
She also pledged to help the organisation look for additional funding to support its charitable endeavours.
Prominent figures such as former Lagos State First Lady Dame Abimbola Fashola, Director-General of SDGS, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Professor Toyin Ashiru, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, and former Foreign Affairs Minister Odein Ajumogobia attended the celebration of Vintage Christmas with the Family.
