The Jameson Upcycled Bottle Christmas Tree, an environmentally friendly project that blends sustainability with holiday happiness, has been unveiled by Pernod Ricard Nigeria. The celebration, which will include a number of exciting events aimed at generating buzz and excitement, will begin on December 21, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Ikeja City Mall Car Park, Alausa, Ikeja, and run until January 1, 2025.

This creative effort encourages environmental responsibility and community involvement by repurposing almost 2,500 discarded Jameson bottles into a gorgeous 4-foot piece of art. Ricard Pernod With this special launch, Nigeria, the second-largest wine and spirits company in the world, hopes to make the holiday season one that fun-lovers will never forget.
“The initiative seeks to promote sustainability and environmental awareness, showcasing creative reuse of materials to foster community engagement and social responsibility,” said Michael Ehindero, Managing Director of the company. The Jameson Bottle Christmas tree, which symbolises the well-known “Twelve Days of Christmas,” will include special activities that take place over a 12-day period.
A range of activities aimed at promoting community involvement and memorable, impacting brand recall will be included in the event. Activities with a Jameson theme, a Jameson candle art and giving zone, silent disco, Carol, owambe, sip and paint sessions, karaoke, open mic, and a concert on New Year’s Day are among of the highlights.
There will be music and DJ sets every day to add to the joyous ambiance. At the event’s opening, the Jameson Upcycled Bottle Christmas Tree will be commissioned by His Excellency, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab.
