Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo fulfilled his pledge when he finished building the 12.5-kilometer Ezira-Umuomaku-Enugu Umuonyia-Achina Road, which connects multiple settlements.

In an effort to make the state a national tourist brand, Governor Soludo has essentially turned Anambra into a construction site with the state’s current and finished road projects. Mr. Izuchuckwu Eze, a community leader in Omuoanyia, claims that the governor, who has been working on a number of road rehabilitation projects, fulfilled his pledge with the 12.5 km road, which will improve small businesses in the area, make farm products available to other parts of the state, and make our communities along the road easily accessible.
The 11.9-kilometer Mmiata-Anam-Nzam road, which connects to the Anambra West Local Government Area (LGA) headquarters, was recently put into service by Soludo. “I promised Ndi Anambra West that if I fail to build that road to your headquarters, that if I ever come back to your local government to campaign or to ask you for anything, that you should stone me,” Governor Soludo said as he inspected the finished project.
According to the Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor PhD, the State’s Executive Council has approved the construction of new roads in the 21 Local Government Areas, which will be delivered within six months, while existing projects will be finished.
It’s interesting to note that Soludo is quickly turning Anambra into a destination band by reinventing administration and combining vision and execution to unleash the city’s enormous economic and human development potential.
