The 18th edition of the Africa Security Watch Conference, which takes place from December 10–11, 2024, will bring together a wide range of subject matter experts to discuss ways to address the multifaceted problems plaguing Africa’s security space, according to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, or NAOSNP. The Radisson Blu Hotel in Doha, Qatar, will host the influential conference.

Among the subject matter experts presenting papers are the following: Prof. Henri Fouche, Board of Trustees of the Security Watch Africa Initiative; Comptroller of Nigeria Customs, CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi; Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, Board Member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF); Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF); Maj. Gen. Adamu Garba Laka, National Coordinator of the National Counterterrorism Centre.

The others are Maj. Lancelot Anyanya (retd), Prof. Barend Prinsloo, Brig. Gen. John Waweru (retd), Captain Mark Blaine (retd), and Brig. Gen. Leon Duplessis (retd). Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri, Hon. Marciano Silva Barbeiro, Hon. Abdoulie Sanyang, and Vice Admiral Zubairu Gambo, retd., will all give keynote addresses.

The meeting is expected to produce significant discussions and practical measures that will result in true peace, security, and stability throughout Africa.
