They stated that following extensive research, “the Youth Agenda discovered that this group is not officially registered with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa” and that it seems to have been formed in a hurry to disseminate false information and sabotage party cohesion. “We reaffirm our unwavering support for Minister Badaru Abubakar, acknowledging his exceptional contributions to the APC and Nigeria,” stated Jigawa Youth Agenda Public Analyst Al-Amin Aliu. The organization said, “His leadership and commitment are indisputable, from his transformative tenure as Governor of Jigawa State to his current role as Minister of Defence.”

Minister Badaru Abubakar’s major accomplishments were emphasized in the Jigawa Youth Agenda. These included bolstering national security by improving Nigeria’s military capabilities, establishing strategic alliances with international defense organizations, encouraging youth empowerment through programs centered on education, employment, and entrepreneurship in Jigawa State, and advancing APC unity by encouraging cooperation both within the state and nationally.

The Youth Agenda asked party members and the general public to ignore these baseless accusations, which it saw as an attempt to sow discord within the APC family. “Minister Badaru Abubakar’s legacy remains a source of pride for Jigawa State and Nigeria,” Aliu stated. “His dedication to national development, APC principles, and the Tinubu administration demonstrates his integrity and effectiveness” , the organization stated.

According to the youths, the defense minister has continuously shown his dedication to Jigawa State’s citizens’ well-being, as evidenced by his recent visit to express sympathy to the state government over the devastating flood and his personal donation of N20 million to aid relief efforts.

“This gesture reinforces the strong bond between the Honourable Minister and the people of Jigawa State.” The Jigawa Youth Agenda then called on Nigerians to acknowledge the accomplishments of Minister Badaru Abubakar and back his endeavors to create a more secure and powerful country.

“Together, let us reject misinformation and uphold APC unity and progress at state and national levels,” Aliu said as the Youth Agenda reiterated its complete faith in Minister Badaru Abubakar’s capacity to guide and aid in the development of Nigeria.
