Additional praise for H.E. Dr. Muhammad Bello Matawalle MON, the Honourable Minister of State for Defence, for his devotion to his work and the Most recently, Comrade Famuyibo Oluwasegun, the newly elected National Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), the country’s premier youth organization, expressed the minister’s goodwill during his acceptance speech at the national election weekend at Agura Hotels in Abuja.

Ekiti State native Comrade Oluwasegun characterized the Minister as a role model for young people who has shown uncommon bravery in battling terrorists and bandits to their deaths in the North West and other regions of the nation, and most importantly, his devotion to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
The National Youth Speaker added that “Dr. Bello Matawalle, the former governor of Zamfara state and minister of state defense, was a major factor to his new attained height, after God Almighty who made his emergence possible.”
“My victory became a reality because of the unwavering leadership, guidance, and support I received from my mentor, His Excellency Dr. Matawalle,” Famuyibo said.
The YAN Speaker-elect expressed gratitude to the Convention Planning Committee, the YAN Board of Trustees, and all YAN delegates for recognizing his qualifications to serve as the leader of the 4th Assembly of Nigerian Youths. Hon. Gt. C Samuel, the Acting BoT Chairman of YAN, also spoke out and counseled the newly elected YAN leaders to always be good ambassadors for Nigeria and Nigerian youth.
He urged them to use their best judgment as they prepared for the appropriate inauguration of the elected 4th Assembly.
The 4th Assembly of Youth Assembly of Nigeria also elected new national leadership, including Jude Chinonso as Diaspora Ambassador, Raymond Sylvanus of Cross Rivers state as National Chief Whip, Jennifer Ornguga of Benue state as National Minority Leader, Sadiq Abubakar of Borno state as Majority Leader, and Umar Bala Babayaro of Kaduna state as Deputy National Speaker.
