Since the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved President Bola Tinubu’s instruction on the sale of crude oil and refined goods under the Naira Initiative, the parties have been in talks. In that sense, we have come a long way, and events have surpassed this progress.
Court procedures have not been served to any party, and they are not planned to be. We have decided to stop the proceedings. It is crucial to emphasize that there are no negative consequences for any party and that no directives have been issued.
We are aware that we will be able to formally withdraw the case from court whenever it is brought up in January 2025.
