The Human Resources and Executive Office team of Access Holdings PLC, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, acquired and formally handed over two coaster buses to the Bethesda Child Support Agency during a ceremony held recently at Access Towers in Victoria Island, Lagos.
This was done as part of the company’s long-standing partnership with the organisation. This donation is a significant step towards Access Holdings’ goal of giving 1,000 impoverished children in Nigeria access to high-quality education.
This goal has been the core of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives for more than ten years. The recently donated buses are expected to be extremely important to Bethesda’s operations since they will make it possible for kids to get to and from school safely and effectively, eliminating one of the major obstacles to education for these impressionable brains.
The group, which consists of roughly 20 workers, has been using cash raised primarily from individual donations as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative to support Bethesda’s comprehensive services, which include healthcare, education, and vital assistance for underprivileged children. This collaboration is an example of how people, organisations, and business endeavours may go beyond charity to positively influence people’s lives and promote community development.
