Tuesday, July 16, 2024, saw the presentation of the award to the cultural icon in his Abuja office by Mr. Quadri Olowolagba, Editor of High Celebrity Squard Magazine and one of the organisers of the HiCESRA Award. He characterised Otunba Ajiboye as a versatile technocrat who is knowledgeable not only in the field of culture but also in other areas of endeavour.
He claims that the honour is given in appreciation of Ajiboye’s unique and selfless devotion to the nation and to mankind in general, as well as his role in helping Nigerians realise the importance of going back to our cultural traditions. After accepting the honour, the NICO Boss congratulated the HiCESRA organisers for this well-deserved recognition and praised the entire NICO staff for their tenacity, dedication, and commitment to serving the nation by working with him to educate Nigerians about the value of our culture.
Recall that over the years, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye has persisted in instilling noble and praiseworthy cultural values, especially in the youth, with the aim of revitalising our rich cultural legacy, which is already benefiting the populace.
