Primate Elijah Ayodele, the founder and leader of the INRI Spiritual Evangelical Church, has disclosed that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) can only prevail in the upcoming Edo State governorship election if the party engages in negotiations.
Thank you for visiting The Vestigator, don't forget to share!
On July 6, 2024, Primate Ayodele gave a speech during the 30-year celebration of his seminal work, “Warnings to the Nations,” which was held at the church’s global headquarters in Lagos. In his own right, no one will vote for the PDP, he continued. Nobody will vote for PDP on their own, hence the only way the party can win in Ed State is through cooperation or negotiation with the incumbent party.
If Labour can organise his affairs, it has the potential to surprise voters, and the APC is fully capable of winning this Edo State election. Even though he emphasised that his first term will be better than his second, he foresaw in the book that Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the present governor of Ondo State, will win and hold onto his position. “I haven’t seen a credible candidate in Ondo State who can stop Aiyedatiwa; she can defeat any contender.”
The remaining contenders ought to fold their hands and deliver it to Aiyedatiwa. “They will fight him, and his first term will be better than his second.” He implored the nation to offer prayers for the wellbeing of the nation’s governors. “Let us pray that the health of our governors won’t fail them.”
Primate Ayodele revealed that there will be significant levels of corruption in Tinubu’s cabinet and that the cabals will corrupt the system, even as he stated that all members of the government should leave office at the end of Tinubu’s first term.
He clearly stated that the governors in the opposition will be following Tinubu’s lead. “I don’t see any significant opposition that can outmanoeuvre Tinubu in terms of political scheming.
Because Tinubu has reached agreements with so many of them, he would lock up every governor and opposition member, preventing them from raising any voices.
Governors will support Tinubu for a second term; none will oppose him. These governors are all members of the ruling party; they are not the opposition. While admitting that there will be conflict between Buhari and Tinubu’s administration, he also said that Tinubu need to stop protesting and have talks as demonstrations have the potential to take over an entire country. “Power can be seized by protest.” The economy can be overtaken by protest for up to 300 hours.
