Adams served as the chairman of the House Committee on Sports and as the representative for Kaduna State’s Chikun/Kajuru federal constituency until his passing on Tuesday morning after a brief illness. Through a WhatsApp message, Adams’ close friend Mr. Mike Obasi confirmed the death to our reporter. On the Labour Party (LP) platform, Hon. Adams—a former general manager of Kada City FC and Remo Stars—was elected to the House of Representatives in 2023. He was selected to serve as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Sports due to his background in sports as a former athlete and administrator.
He held this role until his passing on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, early in the morning.Adams’ death came one week after the passing on Wednesday, July 10, of Hon. Olaide Akinremi (Jagaban) of Oyo State, who was the first to have an impact on the House.
