The addition of well-known singer, songwriter, and record producer Pheelz to the judges panel—known for hits like “Finesse” and “Electricity”—alongside musical icon Davido increased the anticipation.
In a shocking turn of events, host IK broke with convention by summoning each competitor forward separately and designating them as “safe.” The audience was kept in suspense until Lady Ruth’s tearful departure from the show was disclosed thanks to this dramatic method. Even though Lady Ruth departs the show, she leaves a winner—one who wins a competition and a studio session with Pheelz and walks away with a whooping N500,000.
The final six competitors dazzled the audience with their thrilling performances as they displayed their talent. Lammy transported the audience back in time with a stirring performance of Michael Jackson’s “Speechless,” while Chioma dazzled the crowd with a breathtaking rendition of Sinach’s “Way Maker.” Ric Hassani and Omawumi encouraged Chioma to keep going strong with her amazing performance.

Ric Hassani, Omawumi, and Pheelz praised Maio for his amazing performance of Johnny Drille’s “Papa,” which delighted the audience. The song “Am not No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell by Mira Clear was also fantastic since Omawumi could not contain her emotions. This showed her that, should she perform exceptionally well in the competition, she has the vocal ability to advance to the final.
Stevie impressed the judges with his rendition of “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys, receiving encouraging remarks from them. With a heartfelt rendition of Lionel Richie’s “Hello,” Chima garnered a standing ovation and a wave of supportive remarks on social media.
Throughout the thrilling parts of the show, Bigi kept the audience refreshed. Bigi is honored to assist these gifted vocalists in their quest for musical fame this season.
